"You Shall Not Pass" casts an Irish Wolfhound as Gandalf the Grey, planted on the bridge of Khazad-dûm with his own version of a wizard's staff: a genuinely enormous stick, clamped in his mouth like he found it and isn't giving it back. The message is still the one Gandalf gave the Balrog — you have no power here — just delivered by a dog who is very pleased with himself and not going anywhere. Squirrel, mail carrier, vacuum cleaner: doesn't matter. This dog is holding the line, stick and all.
